Here’s a little blurb from my essay I had to write for today…about drawing Colin Morgan’s face.
With all 13 inches of my screen filled with Colin Morgan’s Hope diamond eyes, I copied their curves on my paper. Light feather lines appeared, splaying some semblance of eyelashes over the would-be irises. A fold of skin. Stray eyebrow hairs leading to the masculine mass locked in an indiscernible gaze. Bubbles in the whites of the eyess where light would be captured, A curve where the eye socket meets the nose—a nearly straight line sloping down to the lips. I stared at my computer screen a moment longer than necessary, memorizing their curves, the soft light highlighting the mountain peaks, the way they part and shadow his front teeth, the way the light caresses his lower lip.
